Country singer Jake Owen is one of many golfers who give back and has been awarded The Arnie Award this year. Owen along with retired NFL player, Peyton Manning, and four-time AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am champion Phil Mickelson, received Golf Digest’s highest honor this month.

The sport lost its greatest legend, Arnold Palmer, back in September. Palmer was part owner of Pebble Beach Resorts where the 2017 Pro-Am took place.

Owen’s commitment to giving back began in 2006 when he started the Jake Owen Foundation concerts which has raised almost $1.25 million and benefited organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Autism Speaks, and more.
